Any one reading this?

I've just updated a bunch of stuff on facebook. If you're a friend go check it out. If not become one. If you don't want to become a friend and would rather I continue to post stuff on here let me know. I'm happy too if it works better for people, but if not, then I'm not going to waste my time doing double duty. Been busy

I started a facebook page. The platform is very easy to use and much faster for uploading pictures and videos. I'm continue to write for a while on here and we'll see. On facebook I'll write messages in my notes then upload pictures into the albums and the videos separately. Let me know what you think of the change of venue.

Saturday Mom-mom and Niney came to visit. We had a great time! We went to my first Easter Egg Hunt. I got 7 eggs in my bucket and met the Easter Bunny. Niney took lots of pics of me that day. They're in my pictures if you want to see. I can now mostly put on a shirt. Mom puts if over my head and I can get each arm in by myself then hold up my feet for my pants, socks, and shoes. I like to put stuff on my head but it doesn't stay very well. I started walking better today. It's more forward and less of the sideways motion that toddling has. I can help Mommy do the wash or pick up my toys and put them away. I like to pat the puppies though they run from me a lot. Mommy got a video of me playing with Mani. Tomorrow we are going to see the Elephants if it doesn't rain so I'm sure there will be more pictures from that. tty again soon.

Catch up

I've been very neglectful. So Sorry! It's almost been a month again. Oops! I have a lot to share. I'm walking much better. I love climbing up stairs. Going down is ok and I'm getting better at it. I would rather go up though. I can stand up all by myself with nothing to pull up on. I can walk fast on familiar ground. I've been clapping for about two weeks. I started in Houston when I was there for a wedding. I most like to clap and walk. It is easier to more everything at once, but I'm getting better and clapping when I'm still. A couple days ago I used my first sign, "eat" and I'm working on "dog". I love to go to the playground. I like to swing but prefer to slide. I would all day if you would let me. I'm getting better at walking while holding Mommy's finger but I still get distracted easily. In February, I got an ear infection and then the antibiotics caused a loss of appetite so I lost weight. =) I've gained it all back now and am eating normal again. =) I went to Houston for a wedding. It was a lot of fun! I met some people who have know Mommy for ages!!! Then Ibu took us to the rodeo. It is the most amazing place in the world. I couldn't take it in enough. There was just so much to look at. I feel asleep on the way home and slept for 2.5 hrs. Jeez! Was I worn out. It was nice and warm in Texas and I got to go outside a lot. Now its cold at home again. :( I want to go outside and play. Soon it will be spring, then Easter, then my birthday! Mommy's been getting ready. Pancake Supper

These are some really great pics that a youth took at the Pancake Supper. He just sent them to us yesterday. The lighting is bad in the parish hall for taking pictures, but I still like them.

My walking shoes!

Mommy took me to get my first real pair of shoes! They're 4 wides. I have very chubby feet. Now I can walk outside and play on the playground and all kinds of things with better protection. Aren't they pretty!

I also said Momma today. It wasn't for anything but it is still the first time I've said it. Mommy was so thrilled! I think she's been waiting a long time though I'm not sure why.

First word

I've said my first word. I love to drop things and say uh-oh! I know it's a little strange as far as first words go, but I learned it from Alexander. Last summer his grandparents taught him to say uh-oh and put his hands on top of his head when something fell. He has stopped doing the hand part but still says uh-oh a lot. I figured it was something I could say. Mommy keeps tying to get me to say momma but I can't figure that out. I've got da-da but don't know when to use it. I still have a long way to go.

Yesterday, my Niney bought me my first pair of real shoes and they ended up not even fitting. My feet are growing like gangbusters. Mommy will take me back to the store to get real shoes for outside. My Niney also made my Easter dress. It is the most beautiful dress!!!! You'll have to wait for Easter to see pictures though. Anyway I need breakfast now. ttfn.

February

I haven't shared pics in a while...these are from the last week. Alexander and I have been playing a lot lately. Oh Mommy wanted me to tell you that she is VERY proud of me. I had to get blood draw for a lead test because we live in a building built before 1978. Mommy was very nervous about it. The guy put a big band around both of my arms and didn't see the veins at all! I might have my aunt Niney's deep veins. So he pricked my finger and dripped it into two vials instead. I didn't cry AT ALL! It was annoying how long he wanted to hold my hand, but Mommy played with me and it was better. The guy said I was very brave. I got lots of hugs and kisses for that.
